"Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever."
- Psalms 106:1 NLT

At Midwest Christian Retreats we give thanks for our family and friends and for God's goodness to us everyday.  Following are a few of the comments from the team at Lake Williamson reflecting with thankful hearts.

I am thankful for being able to visit family and friends during the holidays. Many of whom I only get to see once a year.

- Dennis House, Conference Services

For my strong family heritage, and for my boys :  )

- Jenny Lenczycki, Group Accounts Manager

I am Thankful for the sincerity of the holiday season, every year I get so excited because everyone is so cheery and giving!

- Lindsey Graham, Group Accounts

I'm thankful for my 8 year old son (We were once told he could never be more than a foster child.), my 7 year old daughter (Her first sonogram showed no heartbeat, and we were told she had died in the womb.), and my 5 year old son (The finalization of his adoption is nearly completion).

- Jeffery Gosnell, Eagle Crest Adventures

I am also thankful for breaks from school and/or work to recollect and relax.

– Lindsey Graham, Group Accounts

I'm thankful for a wife who has stayed close to me through many years of sorrow, pain, joy, and happiness.

- Jeffery Gosnell, Eagle Crest Adventures

I'm thankful for the time I get to spend with my family, especially because we live far apart.  One of my favorite memories from past Thanksgivings is the year I spent the weekend building some furniture for my house with my dad.  Plus there is nothing better than being home with family, EATING!  (I love food :)  ), and watching movies or playing board games.

- Zach Norman, Marketing

Holiday Tips:

Enjoy the moment you have with those you care about and let them know how you feel, because you never know what the next day (or next hour) will bring and you will never have that chance again

– Dennis House, Conference Services

May you be richly blessed in this Thanksgiving season!
- Your friends at Midwest Christian Retreats and Lake Williamson
